About Vitality Tai Chi

At Vitality Tai Chi, we are committed to providing high-quality instruction of traditional Yang Family tai chi and qigong practices. Our classes are tailored to suit the ability level of our students, ensuring that everyone can benefit from this wonderful practice.

Ari Reisner – Tai Chi Chuan & Qigong Instructor
Ari Reisner is a dedicated Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong instructor with over a decade of experience. He has trained extensively at the H. Won Tai Chi Chuan Association in the traditional Yang Family lineage, becoming an assistant instructor there three years ago. In July 2025, Ari received his official teaching certificate from the H. Won Tai Chi Chuan Association, recognizing his commitment to carrying these teachings forward with clarity, integrity, and care.

Ari’s teaching style is grounded in years of focused practice and study. He combines traditional forms and principles with an accessible, down-to-earth approach, helping students build balance, coordination, and calm attention at a pace that feels right for them. Whether you are new to Tai Chi or looking to deepen your practice, Ari welcomes you to explore this rewarding art in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.

Teresa Sanchez, MS, OTR/L – Occupational Therapist
Teresa Sanchez is a registered and New York licensed occupational therapist with a strong passion for helping individuals enhance their physical and mental well-being. She collaborates closely with Ari and joins select classes, such as larger groups or those that would especially benefit from clinical insight, to help students fully engage in and benefit from each Tai Chi and Qigong session.

Drawing on her clinical experience, Teresa focuses on understanding each group’s unique needs and abilities. She helps adapt movements and pacing so participants can follow instructions safely and confidently. This approach supports an inclusive and empowering class experience. Teresa has seen first-hand how these practices support strength, balance, flexibility, and mental clarity, and she is honored to contribute to her students’ journey toward improved health and wellness.

Together, Ari and Teresa are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We look forward to connecting with you soon.
